I say there are no teams in the NBA that could beat the Heat and stop them from winning another championship, I just honestly see them 3-peating.

I wouldn't be surprised if that ended up happening.

I don't know why I'm feeling so confident this year, but I feel like the only team that can stop the Bulls this year is the Heat.  I'm not the least bit worried about the Pacers.

I'm just hoping that this is the year Wade finally breaks all the way down.

Ew.

To be honest, I don't even think we'll make it out of the East this year. With Chicago, Indy and Brooklyn all getting significantly better, I'm really worried.
I think the Finals might be the easy part for the East Champ.

Going from a injured Eric Gordon to a healthy Eric Gordon may be a bigger upgrade than going from Greivis Vasquez to Jrue Holiday, which by itself is a huge upgrade.
Well, yeah... Jrue Holiday isn't that fantastic and Vaz did pretty damn solid last year.

Brooklyn tho

The Heat have a really tough matchup against these guys

C Lopez
PF Garnett
SF Kirilenko (because old man Paul can't guard him anymore)
SG Johnson
PG Williams
6th Pierce, JET

The combo of Lopez+KG will kill the Heat. Remember what Hibb and West did to them? Both BKN boys are better scorers than those two. the Heat would have to put LBJ on Garnett, and when KG tires him out AK47 stops him on D. The Heat would have to rely on DWade carrying the team, and I'm not sure he can do that versus a team with 3-5 legitimate scoring options

The whole "guy that can defend Lebron" thing is a myth.  No such thing exists. Just guys that can maybe force him under 50% shooting.

AK has the ability/length to contain him. He gives him enough room that makes Lebron want to shoot but is able to close out quickly because of his length. Nobody can stop Lebron from driving, that I'll give you.

I honestly think we have a better chance than the Bulls or Pacers at taking out the Heat. It's getting past the Bulls and Pacers that will cause us trouble

Like last year against the Pacers in game one, after the game was over, I came away thinking, "PG did one hell of a job on Lebron tonight."

Then I looked at the box score, and Lebron had 30 points and a goddamn triple double.

PG fucked up on the last play of the game tho. Let Lebron get an open drive to the basket. You can win even if Lebron gets 30-10-10

I really don't see a team stopping the Heat either. Unless Wade breaks down.
