Dwight is healthy and as good as he ever was, right now. His stats would be higher if he had to carry Houston like he had to carry Orlando.

No, he's not.

Demarcus Cousins has turned himself into a top 3 center in this league.
If he would grow up and act like an adult he'd be even better

Yeah, he is. He is not asked to do for Houston what he did for Orlando because Houston has much better pieces than Orlando ever had. Two extra high scorers, and a bunch of other guys who can drop 15 on any given night.

That, and TJones rebounds the hell out of the ball, too. Dwight's numbers aren't going to be like they were in Orlando.

If Dwight Howard was playing at the level he played at during his best years in Orlando, he would at the least be a top 8 player in the NBA right now. Which he isn't.

Dwight was easily a top 5 player in Orlando

Tony Parker is 4th in the MVP race on nba dot com. I bet everyone disagrees with that

Dwight Howard is without a doubt a top 8 player. You are underrating him based on his lesser stats. He doesn't need to produce like he did in Orlando. Houston's got two other great players, and a bunch of other guys able to drop 10-15 on any given night.

If Dwight had lesser players around him, he'd be more dominant. The way other guys score for Houston negates any chances he has of going back to his Orlando days.

Dwight has been better than I ever expected. I'll admit I was hesitant to celebrate the signing, but the dividends it's paying are more than worth it.

Apparently Lakers called Knicks about Shumpert and Chandler.
