I admit Romo is a great regular season QB. He just needs to continue that into the playoffs.

83% of SI in Pick'Em picked the Giants to win. 23 people picked and only 4 picked right.

Who you guys got tonight? I want the Cowboys to win badly (for obvious reasons). But I think the Giants will pull it out. Only weakness for the Cowboys is Tony Romo. I just don't think he has it anymore. I guess we'll find out tonight though.
You're joking, right?

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]I was very impressed by a multitude of players and things.[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]Players:[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]1. Morris Claiborne- Do we even consider handing the starting job to Jenkins until this kid actually struggles out there? He made a couple of rookie blunders, but he made some nice plays and a couple of tackles that I'm not sure Mike makes.[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]2. Dez Bryant- Dear God, did he look in the zone last night. Like an entirely different player from the two years past.[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]3. Bruce Carter- Lee had more tackles and a forced fumble, but I saw Carter make some nice hits and I'm excited for this duo in the middle.[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]4. Kevin Ogletree- This was one game against a depleted secondary, but I gotta give the kid props for ballin', at least. [/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]The guys who just flat out played well, as usual:[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]1. Romo[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]2. Murray[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]3. Austin[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]4. Ware[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]5. Lee[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]6. Carr (in reference to his time with KC, as well. There's no telling if he can play like that again with Dallas after a one game sample).[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]Other observations:[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]1. The Replacement officials took their time to make calls, and I love that. They talked about most penalties before making the official call and, though I was watching the game on mute in a bar, I didn't see too many blunders on their part. [/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]2. The Dallas OL did a pretty good job of keeping Romo on his feet. 2 sacks against that DLine is practically an accomplishment.[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]3. Eli misses Manningham. They need to find a strong third target to take pressure off of Nicks and Cruz. Hixon could be that third target, but can he stay healthy? The poor guy seems to get cut and resigned every other month.[/background]

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]4. As the starting TE, Marty B might make something of himself in NY, but he did have a terrible drop early in the game that could have led to more points for the G-men. [/background]

Refs missed alot of calls that would have gone against Dallas, and called stupid ones as well.

Like the one where the Giants were called for a block in the back, even though he pushed the defender INTO whoever had the ball, and they were both behind him... that was a bad call.

They missed blatant holds on JPP and Tuck in game too, ones where when NBC replayed the play, the holds were so obvious

I'd agree 100% if the Giants had been called for more than 4 penalties (give or take one or two, but the last stat on penalties I saw was the Giants with 4 and the Cowboys with 13).

When the disparity is like that, Dallas better get away with some things.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see if these suspensions will be lifted...
