AJ Green signed a 4 year 20 million dollar contract last season as the #4 pick. That's not a max salary player.

In 4 years would the Browns have a decision to make between Mo and Joe? Yes, but that's 4 years away.
LOL, You don't understand.

When you already have a #1 CB, you don't try to draft another CB that high in the draft when you can clearly use the firepower at other positions. Has nothing to do with money due to the CBA.. Money and draft picks are a non factor.

If they didn't have NO CB, then I could see him.. but just because they dont have a #2 CB doesn't mean they'll draft Claiborne.. they could get great value at #22 or in the 2nd round.

Who else are the Browns going to take? Tom Heckert doesn't strike me as a guy who is going to take a running back at #4.

They could take anybody.. Its not like they're the packers or somebody and don't have holes.

They have alot of holes, could see them trading back, but I really dont see them getting Claiborne.

A team that wants a DT might trade up

If Cleveland goes TR 4th, I can see 3 DTs off the board by BUF's pick (Poe 5th, Brockers 6th, Still 9th). So if they want a DT, they might need to trade up

Trading down seems pretty pointless to me unless we're staying top 10.

and I still don't see a problem with taking a CB at #4 when we just took one at #7 a couple years ago considering he will clearly be the BPA at #4. We have the luxury to do it because of last years draft trade that gave us another first. We can still address a need of WR later in the first, pick up a running back in the 2nd, offensive lineman in the 3rd..

Its just because you're balls deep for Claiborne.

You mean to tell me, best RB prospect coming out in a while.. Browns dont want?

That RB in the 2nd < CBs you could take in the 2nd.

And Richardson has tons of talent, its just not a lot teams at the top have no real need for a RB (Peterson, Jones Drew, Jackson, Charles, etc)

I'm not balls deep for Claiborne, I just think he'd be the best available player at a position of great need.

I'm telling you I think the Browns front office would rather use 2nd-3rd round picks on running backs.

& Thats why your in as bad shape as yall are in.

You have more Value is it played out like this.

1.4 - Trent Richardson
1.22 - Stephon Gilmore
2nd - Doug Martin.

Its HEAVY with CB and WR in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

We've gotta lock up D-Bowe now that the market has pretty much said he's gonna make between 42-54 mill..
