monty williams also sent videos of greg monroe to the league from when we played them. i hope gmoe gets suspended. sucks for his case to be an all-star but would be great for our team to lose some games.

Monty Williams is quick to forget his players are responsible for breaking Knigh't nose.
He can suck Greg's nuts.

I would not be a happy camper if he made it over Greg.
But I've come to terms that Monroe will be snubbed.
Snubbed isn't the right term considering there's centers that deserve it over him.

Such as?
And before you pull the "they play for better teams" card, I don't consider that to be a good way to judge an All-Star. Playing at an all-star level, shouldn't matter at how bad your team is.

But go ahead.

I see CC's point..He isn't on a good team and no offense he isn't the highlight reel type of ASG type of player..Tough break for G-Moe

Roy Hibbert is having a better season than Greg because he is not only a good scorer on the low block but also he's a dominant Center on defense as well.

I don't get how you can say "the quality of the team shouldn't matter", when the Pistons had 4 all-stars a few years back it was more of a sentiment of how well they played as a team than as individuals, and you even lobbied that they could have had 5 all-stars that year when Prince's stats were nowhere close to that caliber.

Hell if we're being honest I'm not sure either are all-stars, I hate the position requirement rule. Just let the 7 best non-starters be on the team, I'm sure Chris Bosh wouldn't mind playing C in the ASG...

Other than blocks, Greg is better in every statistical category than Roy. As I posted the other day, among centers:

2nd in the East in scoring.
3rd in the East in rebounding.
1st in the East in assists.
1st in the East in steals.
2nd in the East in double-doubles.
You can't really refute that.

both hibbert and greg are not the typical all-star type players youd want to see. i guess id give the excite factor to greg because hes the better passer.

Roy Hibbert is hardly even a scoring option for his team though while Greg is relied on for scoring every night? Both have had very good seasons. Like I said, I wish they could just name Chris Bosh the backup C because that way more deserving players would get in (Bosh will get in either way). If I had to take one, I would take Hibbert because he impacts both ends of the floor. For the same reason I'd take Anthony Davis over any player in college (but that's a different debate(

It's not like Greg is a complete dud on defense, he has made good strides this year and has been a pretty reliable defender.
I think if you put Greg on the Pacers, he still puts up the numbers he puts up here. Greg is a much better scorer than Roy, imo.

He's only better by 1.2 PP36....Roy's got the better rebounding stats and he's not far off passing either (Georgetown big men are all great passers).

If it makes you feel better Rip, Monroe is the 8th ranked fantasy player according to Yahoo.

Jeremy Lin once again with a pretty good game at the half. 8 points, 8 assists, and 2 rebounds.
