probably not but its a tradition, so, w/e.

And I saw the images from when Eli went today -- there were Giants fans everywhere. So I guess it's not that bad.

Im not gonna go rush and say "SO AND SO IS #5" because of one good year. Consistency is key, and outside of Brady, Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers, none of the other quarterbacks have proven to be all that consistent imo
And that is why they are the only elite QBs, consistency.

I've brought it up before but the reason Mariano is considered the GOAT reliever isnt because he's the best reliever year in and year out, he has more seasons of not being the best statically than he does of being the best, but he puts up the same great numbers year after year. QBs come and go, but Peyton, Brady, Brees, and Rodgers stay eternal :p

lol if Brady throws that ball to Welker a tiny bit lower, and Wes catches it, this conversation doesnt even occur.

Giants won the 1st Super Bowl because of their defense, 100%. Eli got MVP because no WR/TE/RB had a breakout game, and they cant give the award to an entire defensive line. It was Strahan, Osi, and Tuck in 2007 that got them the win. But you give the award to the QB most of the time; only exception is when a single non-QB has a great game.

Eli definitely played well in this Super Bowl, but they won because Tuck owned. He made Logan Mankins his bitch, and rushed Brady so much. JPP played great as well. But because not one person stood out so much, they had to give the MVP to Eli.

Like, if Jerod Mayo forced a fumble on that last Giants drive, and New England recovered and won, Brady gets MVP, not Mayo. Its a meaningless award, to be honest.

I think 95% of NFL fans can agree Brady, Rodgers, and Brees, in no order, are the Top 3.
Aside from Giants homers, Peyton is still the superior Manning, and is #4.

Eli v Roethlisberger v Stafford v Rivers. Eli and Stafford had great years this year, Roethlisberger was solid, Rivers threw many INTs

My #5 is Rivers. Compare the stats for Eli and Rivers for 2010+2011

Player A: 8,935 yards, 60 TDs, 41 INTs, 62.0% completion, 89.2 passer rating
Player B: 9,334 yards, 57 TDs, 33 INTs, 64.5% completion, 95.0 passer rating

Player A is Eli, Player 2 is Rivers. I dont know how anyone can take player A over player B, unless they want a worse QB. Remember, for as bad of a year Rivers had this year, Eli in 2010 was worse
Player A plays his home games in the windiest stadium, and largest market in the NFL. Player B just lobs the ball up to his 6'4+ receiving core in sunny, insignificant California for nine games per season.

Tom Brady will now be simply referred to as "Eli's bitch" on SI.

Your such a dumbfuck Domerocker

if ANYTHING, Brady is Tuck's bitch. Not Eli's.

You are the prime reason to why people hate the Giants so much. People like _NV, GMF, FPS are cool Giants fans; not too much in your face about it. You're just annoying as fuck.

Anyone see MIA give the bird during the halftime show?

I was watching and I dont remember seeing it, maybe I missed it or maybe I just didnt think it was a big deal at the time. Im not mad that she did it, but why would you do that? You have to know that it was going to cause a HUGE reaction. She just wanted the publicity since she was basically a one hit wonder. Well she got what she wanted then.

Just wanted to add that the way to build a championship contender is through the draft:

2004 Philip Rivers North Carolina State Quarterback (Traded for Eli Manning)
2005 Corey Webster (#1 CB on the team) *2nd Round Pick
2006 Mathias Kiwanuka Boston College Defensive end (Starting LB'er on the team)
2007 Aaron Ross Texas Defensive back (#2 CB on the team)
2008 Kenny Phillips Miami (FL) Defensive back (Starting Safety on the team)
2009 Hakeem Nicks North Carolina Wide receiver (#1 WR on the team)
2010 Jason Pierre-Paul South Florida Defensive end (#1 DE on the team)
2011 Prince Amukamara Nebraska Defensive back (#3 CB on the team)

O rly?

Lions have been drafting well since Mayhew and Schwartz have taken over. We've had a good amount of players from each draft that are starters or players that get a decent amount of reps

What did you think of the "Tebow sucks" chants at the parade? That came right out of nowhere.
