That's why I'm even more impressed with Stafford. Teams come into the game with the sole purpose of stopping Stafford/pass game and he is still like top 5 statistical QB this year.

Interesting situation. Best and Leshoure could be a nice combo, but we will never know with this line.
Speculation that we might draft a RB, think it would just be a waste to do that. Just draft o-line.

yea definitely need to address the line. We have the 10th most allowed QB hits though, but we are 14th in the least amount of sacks allowed. so middle of the pack o-line i guess haha.

They are average in pass blocking, but they are pathetic in run blocking.


Bright side is Stafford showed he is durable lol. He surely has taken some licks.

The qb hits and sacks would be wayyyyy down if we had someone other than backus...Atleast once or twice a game it seems Backus gets absolutely blown right past by someone.

The type of injury that Leshoure has usually ends in a career ending injury or it completely slows the player down and hes just a fomer shell of what he once was.

Found this stat and thought it was interesting, if you take away every 15+ yard run the leagues top 10 rushers have here is their ypc:

MJD is at 3.5 yards per carry.
McCoy is at 3.2 yards per carry.
Foster is at 3.2 yards per carry.
Gore is at 3.0 yards per carry.
Turner is at 2.6 yards per carry.
Rice is at 3.2 yards per carry.
Matthews is at 3.4 yards per carry.
Lynch is at 3.2 yards per carry.
Forte is at 2.8 yards per carry.
Wells is at 3.4 yards per carry.

But breaking off long runs break the game open. It's what really demoralizes a defense.
