Cleveland: The Indians continue to talk to Dodgers about starting pitcher Hiroki Kuroda, according to The Plain Dealer's Paul Hoynes. Kuroda has a full no-trade clause, but the ongoing talks are an indication the Indians have pressed the issue of him waving his no-trade rights, Hoynes suggests. The Indians' pitching staff averages just under 27 (26.957) years old, according to Elias Sports Bureau. The Royals are the only major league team with younger pitching (26.548 average). The Indians top starters are Josh Tomlin and Justin Masterson, both 26. Kuroda, 36, has a 3.52 ERA in 3 ½ big-league seasons and is a proven big-game pitcher.
