In terms of clearing money that makes sense...but that's about the only way that makes sense.
Yeah, the Devils can't just sit there with one of the best ever (nearing the end of a beast career) and feel confident. They need to do a lot of moves, but I agree, they need to get a young talented goalie in the system that is ready to learn and progress.Same. Also the same with guys not named Zajac or Parise lol
They really do need to trade for a young goalie or draft one
there are people with bigger pictures^ God Damn with the sig bags.
I know, I just run into yours more than anyone else's.there are people with bigger pictures
---Mike Modano is scheduled to be in Detroit on Tuesday to meet with the Red Wings' brass.
Modano is still contemplating retirement, but the Wings have displayed considerable interest in bringing him into their organization. "It's a big decision, and I know it would be for them too, so we'll talk about it and see if this works for both sides," said the Detroit-area native. "I'm excited. I'm looking forward to hearing what they think." Stay tuned. Jul. 6 - 6:10 am et
DarrenDreger: May be old news. Jaro Halak has agreed to a 4 year contract with the Blues.
I love this SOB <3VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Canucks defenceman Shane O'Brien has decided not to rock the boat and tempt fate, agreeing to the Canucks' qualifying offer of $1.6 million.
The blueliner had two goals and eight points, in his second year with the Canucks this season, while putting up five playoff points. He has 79 penalty minutes in 65 games.
Three Canucks have filed for arbitration. Mason Raymond, who set career highs in goals, assists and points will likely get a raise. While Jannik Hansen and Tanner Glass also opted for mediation
Seems like a little too much for him but I guess its a reasonable deal considering his defensive talent.I love this SOB <3
They don't have space but then again, neither do the Devils. Rags can't offer as much for as long as New Jersey can...but word around here is that Lamouriello is growing tired of the whole process. I would have to believe that he would still sign Kovy, if anything, to keep him away from the Rangers. But at this point, it's safe to say Kovalchuk is playing in New York or New Jersey next season and beyond. They have space? I swear they just signed Gaborik last year lol.
I haven't read anything but it has to be bull. Like Rios pointed out, they don't have cap space. Theres like no way. They have those big contracts of Gaborik, Redden, and Drury eating up a lot of money. Not to mention Marc Staal they need to keep who is due for a raise. I just don't see how it would happenAnybody else reading this bullsh_t about the Rangers negotiating with Kovalchuk?
