snowy, it's just not enough money to make him want to play in the land of the free, home of the brave.
Id play in the NBA for 5 bucks and a stick of gum...Im probably only worth the stick of gum though.

This is definitely going to be a The Sixteenth Man Topic

I too would play for that, hell I'd play for a free hotel room, food and shoes. No money needed.. but then again if I had "superstar" as my label maybe I'd be a cunt too lol.

Rubio seems like one classless douche. What is the difference between $3 mill and $4 mill for example?
It's because he has like an 8m dollar buyout with his European team he's going to have to pay if he leaves this year,

Yeah, but he has to pay 8 million out of HIS pocket just to come over here when he could stay over there and MAKE money instead of paying money basically to play here.

To the suggestion that teams have apparently voiced that they haven't seen Jennings in enough "competitive five-on-five action".... Well, I'm sorry, but I have to go into John McEnroe voice and say: YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! Honestly, it's not like the guy has been playing in the 3rd division in Estonia; he's been in the freaking Euroleague, the most competitive basketball league outside the NBA, and the Italian League, one of the world's best domestic leagues!
One of the more interesting tidbits of information coming out of the pre-draft workouts the last two days in Oakland is word that the agent for Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio is suddenly amenable to participating in interviews and individuals workouts with a select number of teams - the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder and Kings. Sources told me that, at this point, Rubio's agent, Dan Fegan, is limiting the visits to the teams with draft picks 2-4.

Its starting to seem like Jennings has begun to drop in mock drafts. The latest RealGM mock seems real good...

I just hope Thabeet is gone before our pick, because if he's there we'll pick him and like Ive stated before I think he'll be a bust.

But it sounds like there might be alot of draft day deals...

More and more mocks have us picking JRue. I just don't know about that pick. I like Jennings/Harden better.

Jrue's a good player, he's a true point who wants to lead and needs the ball in his hands. Reason he didn't do so well here at UCLA was because of Collison, he was forced to play out of position, and off the ball in an incredibly slow system. When he did play point that's when he flourished and his skills showed, too bad Ben Howland's an ass-hat and didn't play him there that much to utilize his full skill set.

He is a good player. But is he worthy of the number 4 selection. Especially after the lackluster season he had. And no excuses

I don't know why, but I have the feeling that he will be average, like not as bad as Kwame Brown, but he won't be great either.

Kwame Brown said it himself and so did his agent.. They both advised MJ not to take him. But MJ did, and you have no control over that, it isn't Kwame's fault he got picked number one so I wouldn't really call him a bust and I never did. Kwame plays nice, same with Darko but they got picked too early, like I just said it's not there fault.
