We'll see wat happens cuz not many asian hitters are REALLY good in MLB except for of course Ichiro and Matsui a while back.

I think you're confusing Asian pitching with Asian hitting lol

Who else has really been here besides the two Matsui's and Ichiro?

Well Choo was originally suppose to be a pitcher, but apparently in the minors the Mariners handed him a bat and told him to become an outfielder. But the downside is he will have to serve in the Korean Military in a few years, unless he is the government pardons him from it.

That is true, lol. There have been a couple though, like that asian guy that used to be on the Cubs a while back, not Fukodome.

Thats why I picked him though. .295 for Rays last year, and he started getting hot in the postseason. Same reason I took Choo and Span.

Yea I know what your saying. Thats going to be a tough lineup to get outs from and Navarro will have to step up his game and not be exposed.

keep in mind, don't make comments or predictions that we will all laugh at you for making later in the season

Like the Royals above .500 this year Maple? lol.

But I guess its not so far-fetched. But it has to come down to pitching for them. Meche,Greinke, and Bannister HAVE to be really good.

we would have finished .500 if it weren't for a bad losing streak early in the season, and that was before Aviles came up

75-87 last season
69-93 the season before

and only a better team this year. We actually have a very legit lineup.

Coco Crisp - Mike Aviles - David DeJesus - Mike Jacobs - Jose Guillen - Billy Butler - Alex Gordon - Miguel Olivo - Mark Teahen

I mean imagine if Gordon or Butler could burst out this and come of age.

Pitching should be fun. Meche and Greinke should be good. Bannister had a tough year last year after being 3rd in the AL in ROY voting before, Davies shined the last month of hte season last year and has been great in spring training

I'm not predicting us to .500, but I'm very optimistic because things have only been going good for this franchise since Dayton Moore has took over. Good move after good move, only questionable one being the Jose Guillen signing but he will be final year of contract this year

Royals have a nice team, but it'll be a few seasons before they make playoffs. I love their youth though. I got a Mike Aviles rookie card, I hope he becomes real good soon.

My uncle gave me this huge deck from when he was my age a year ago, and it had:
Randy Johnson rookie card
2 Gary Sheffied rookie cards

plus I have a Derek Jeter rookie card, Justin Masterson rookie card, Jed Lowrie rookie card, Evan Longoria rookie card, Jay Bruce rookie card, 2 Manny Ramirez rookie cards, Dustin Pedroia rookie cards and a Cliff Lee rookie card. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I could look at the cards and find some that may be better than these ones.
