Denard Span was a beast towards the end of last season. I agree with you that he could really break out this season
hmmmm thats interesting actuallyShin Soo Choo > Andre Either
He's probably hitting 3rd or 4thIf there is someone who will suck its Juan Pierre, lol.
Shin Choo Choo?
What spot is he in the lineup?
Eh, I am not normally one of those guys who looks at Spring training but Hafner has really struggled in ST and hasn't been himself ever since his MVP type year. But hopefully he does comeback, he is due a lot of money and if he can produce our lineup will be deadly.speaking of Indians, I like Hafner to have a good comeback year. IDK about 35+ homers but I can see him anywhere from 25-30 and driving in nearly 100.
AmenI think Cameron Maybin could be really good this year.
ROY perhaps?
The Mariners also gave us Asdrubal Cabrera for Eduardo Perez a few seasons ago, and Cabrera is now a top defensive middle-infielder. He did great in the home stretch for the playoffs in 2007 after being called up. He struggled early last year, Indians sent him down to work on his swing in the minors and he came back for the last month and I believe he was batting .400 in the final month. The Ms were stupid to deal Choo...Ben Broussard, wth were that thinking??
Not this year at least, we have a club option for him I believe, if he has another great year we'll have to trade him mid-season the year after or hope he takes somewhat of a "home" discountIndians are gonna end up trading Lee too
How well a player does in spring training is like those Spring cliches you here when players first arrive. Guys are always coming in "in great shape", "20 pounds lighter", "in the best shape of my life", and etc. There's no proof of that having a tremendous effect on the field until we get to the season. So unless a player is really dominant or struggling horribly, I don't think the spring the 'be all, end all' sign of things to come during the season.Eh, I am not normally one of those guys who looks at Spring training but Hafner has really struggled in ST and hasn't been himself ever since his MVP type year.
