Everytime HighFlyer88 (the Nets turned Celtic fan, UNC basketball, Rutgers football, Yankees, Giants and Jets fan) shows up (usually during a long Yankee win streak), the Yankees lose the very next game (in this case today to some scrub).
He's not a scrub. He's one of our top pitching prospects.

He's a rookie and was brought up earlier then he should have been because of the A's need for pitching, he's still a work in progress.

Phil Hughes had an ERA over well over 6 last season, and you are calling him the best set up man in baseball now..

BAM

BILLY BUTLER 2 RUN HOMER

RIGHT AFTER HILLMAN GETS EJECTED WE HAVE A 3 RUN INNING TO TAKE A 1 RUN LEAD

4-3 in the bottom of the 5th

will we blow it or end the longest losing streak in the majors this year

I was getting on Hughes last year, and he wasn't a consistent starter. But look at how great he's been in the bullpen this year.

I think Hochevar is slowing starting to come around.....the last 2 starts

12.1 IP, 4 ER, 20 K, 0 BB

has a career high 11 k's after 6....probably has 1 more inning left

Wheeler who will be better than Strasburg ;)

BTW, Sanchez better be gone soon because theres no way the team can win with him in the rotation

Jays might be getting a ton of spects this next week via some trades.

Mets win which is rare. And Francouer keeps hitting very well since he has joined the team, thats nice to see.

The Phillies offense is just plain scary when they are on. Caught the game yesterday...every spot but #9 hit safely in their line-up.

I was playing basketball when this kid got a text from his dad saying Carlos hit a walk off in the 10th to win. Me and my friend LOL'ed then got really happy. Glad to see us sweep the Sux.

We still have 1 more game tomorrow to complete the sweep.
Rick Porcello vs. Clayton Richard. Looks like we can sweep.

As do I. Our rotation is going to be nasty for a while, all 5 starters still pretty young.

Detroit needs to make a deal...at least get their name out there. I know the Twins are looking into acquiring Orlando Cabrera & you know Kenny Williams always has an ace up his sleeve this time of year.

We do need a trade, we need a big bat. We need to look to move Carlos or Maggs. I love them but really you can see the major decline is starting and they are still owed a lot of money.

Rip, Bondo should be back soon too. He'll be in the bullpin which is good.
