1 run might be all the Tigers need though not because of JAckson though, but because of our offense.

We've scored 4 runs in our last 42 innings

that's how a typical royals inning has gone the last week. we let the opposing pitcher have a pitch 1-2-3 inning

Naw, it's a combo of both. Jackson has been one of the better pitchers in the league this year.

but it's mostly our offense

just this last week we let Todd Wellemeyer throw 6 shutout innings (mid 5 ERA), and Kyle Lohse throw 8 shutout innings (had a sub-4.50 era before the game)

it'll be interesting to see if Hillman will let Greinke will go for the CG, 89 pitches after 7, he usually goes like 110-115 pitches

of course he'll need a quick 8th

would be his 5th CG :)
