I see all that, but I don't see them giving DLee Boozer type money.
Raymond Felton's agent Kevin Bradbury left a meeting with Charlotte general manager Rod Higgins disappointed and far apart in negotiations.
"We're definitely not close as far as what we're discussing and what we think fair market (value) is for Raymond," Bradbury said Wednesday, a day after the meeting.
While Bradbury declined to discuss numbers, he indicated there was a surprisingly significant difference in the deals he and Higgins proposed for the restricted free agent point guard.
Bradbury said both sides remain interested in a lengthy contract.
"At this point I'm not as encouraged as I was a day ago or even a week ago, but that doesn't mean that it can't get done," Bradbury said. "We just have to keep talking."

The Blazers are desperate, so I wouldnt be surprised if they offered Lee a 10mil deal. But If he resigns with us for the 5yr deal we gave him then thats great. Hopefully we'll know whats what by nest week.Knicks president Donnie Walsh believes that negotiations with restricted free-agent forward David Lee will come to a head early next week.
The New York Post is reporting that Lee will either sign an offer sheet with the Trail Blazers or settle for a five-year offer from the Knicks.
Agent Mark Bartelstein believes that New York's five-year deal is still below his market value.
If Portland doesn't extend an offer and Lee fails to accept New York's proposal, Walsh could pull the offer off the table next week.
"It probably will be next week, the way Mark talks," Walsh told The Post. "My feeling is one way or another. He's looking to get an offer sheet that reflects David's value. I hope he doesn't so I can get him at the value I think he's at. There's a disparity."
The Blazers got back $10 million in cap space when the Jazz matched their four-year, $32 million offer to Paul Millsap.
Bartelstein is reportedly trying to get Portland to offer Lee a five-year, $50 million deal.
I think the Bucks would be more open to a S&T if anything. Im sure they would match the MLE offer. But I would rather Sessions then Duhon at point, he seems to have the potential to become a very solid PG.Gery Woelfel reports that the Knicks covet point guard Ramon Sessions and want to pursue a sign-and-trade for the Bucks' restricted free-agent. Failing that, the Knicks will look to sign Sessions to an offer sheet at the mid-level exception.
