Denver signed former Patriots wide receiver Jabar Gaffney to a four-year, $10 million deal that includes $3 million guaranteed. Former Miami safety Renaldo Hill signed a matching four-year, $10 million deal that includes $3 million guaranteed. Now Denver has two more players that McDaniels knows well.

Fred Taylor’s run into the sunset took him straight to New England.

After visiting Buffalo and New England this week, Taylor decided to sign with the Patriots.

The agreement has been reached, Taylor is headed back to New England. After playing his first 11 NFL seasons with Jacksonville, he now is expected to finish his career as a Patriot.

Ron Bartell is expected to sign with the Saints. Gerald Sensabaugh and Khalif Barnes will also be visiting. Sensabaugh will be in town tomorrow, not sure about Barnes.

From what I am hearing, it is likely that both Bartell and Sensabaugh will be leaving in black and gold tomorrow afternoon. Which would make the Saints contenders, IMO.

Take it for what it is worth, but my inside source works for the Saints and is 4/4 these past two years.

Vikes re-sign Jimmy Kleinsasser to a 3-year deal.

Good to know my favorite blocking TE will continue his tenure with the purple.

The Lions signed Bryant Johnson and Eric King.
Only King has been confirmed so far.

Associated Press said:
The New Orleans Saints have agreed to a five-year contract with offensive tackle Jon Stinchcomb.

Terms were not disclosed on Saturday.

The 29-year-old right tackle has started the last 48 regular-season games at right tackle for the Saints, a stretch that began when he earned the job during training camp in 2006.

With the Stinchcomb signing, Jacksonville tackle Khalif Barnes will not be taking a free-agent visit to New Orleans as planned.

Former Arizona Cardinals defensive end Antonio Smith cashed in on his team's trip to the Super Bowl by landing one of the top defensive end contracts in the past couple of years.

Smith agreed to a five-year, $35 million contract with the Houston Texans on Saturday that will pay him $24 million over the first three years of the contract.

The free agent, who had eight tackles and a sack in the Super Bowl, didn't take long to gush about playing opposite No. 1 pick Mario Williams.
