Vince Carter sprains left ankle in second quarter against the Nets
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS (CP) – 43 minutes ago
Orlando's Vince Carter sprained his left ankle in the second quarter against his former New Jersey Nets teammates on Friday and left the game.
A Magic spokesman said Carter's return to the game in which he scored 16 points was questionable. He was not on the bench for the start of the second half.
Carter was hurt with about 3:05 left in the quarter when he stepped on the foot of former Nets teammate Devin Harris as he dribbled near the top of the key. The 11-year veteran, who was acquired from New Jersey in the off-season, immediately fell to the floor and clutched his ankle.
Play was not stopped until Yi Jianlian scored a layup for the Nets at the other end of the floor and the Magic brought the ball back into the frontcourt.
Carter lay on the court for about a minute before limping to the Magic bench. He was briefly treated and then went back to the Orlando locker room.
are you watching the game? if he was trash, there is no way he could be playing like he has been. knocks down back to back 3's, and then eyes down a defender and shoots in right in his face for a midrange j.Shannon Brown is trash..
Daniel Gibson must be great since he hit 4 3s.. Shannon is just your every day athletic player who occasionally will hit a jumper. He sucks.are you watching the game? if he was trash, there is no way he could be playing like he has been. knocks down back to back 3's, and then eyes down a defender and shoots in right in his face for a midrange j.
That's not mad good.. not to mention he won't even do that.7-10 points and a few assists a game is legit for a guy coming off the bench for us.
They're my favorite team in the West because of Marion lolhow bout those mavs
