Yah know, I will give the Red Sox a B+. I was going to say an A, but I'll let my bias aside.
We got Kimbrel and Carson Smith, whom is now injured, but nonetheless we tried to improve an area of great weakness. Now the only reason I did not give the Sox an A rating for this off-season is because...
Well simply put, as of right now, Mike Trout. He has had now three MVP seasons, has a higher WAR, and has better defense. If Harper can keep up his previous MVP season I would love to see how this argument turns out in 5-10 years.
Wow. If that is the true reason as to why he is retiring...good on him. He has made a good chunk in his career and if his son can't watch him play, he can go live his life with his family.

I did exaggerate a bit, but he has provided throughout his career to be a solid OF. His defensive WAR definitely has dropped throughout his career, he was once an elite CF and now has turned into a serviceable player.
Garcia/Melky platoon in LF or RF, Eaton in the other corner, and Jackson in CF...easily better than last year in my opinion. The White Sox want to make some noise.
Crazy. OROY to being released. Injuries have not helped him whatsoever, but still crazy to me that he is being released. I think he ends up with the Eagles or the Cowboys as well.
Austin Jackson and the White Sox have come to an agreement on a one year 5 million dollar deal.
Solid deal for both sides, Jackson is elite in CF and that is where he will play in Chicago. The White Sox have made some noise this off-season.
Every spring training can be put in here, from games to injuries...of course serious injuries can go into team areas.
Red Sox with a solid win today, super excited for Carson Smith so far!
Segura is a good fit in Arizona, can't wait to see him play this year with this new look team!
This trade was iffy for me, but solid overall for both teams.

Tyler Clippard and the DiamondBacks have agreed upon a two year 12.25 million dollar deal.
Solid deal for both sides, Clippard has a solid track record as a solid arm, and the Backs definitely needed a top one to their team.

Joel Peralta and the Seattle Mariners have agreed upon a minor league deal.
Solid deal for the Mariners to obtain a veteran arm to their pen, could see him making the team.

Latos and the White Sox have agreed upon a one year deal, the contract info will be out shortly I assume.
Solid signing for the White Sox to see if he can put it all back together. Sure it'll be incentive based.
