The great Jim Peterson (Wolves broadcaster) gets it when it comes to James Harden. Here are some of Jim's quotes from tonight:
"He basically got Kevin McHale fired by himself coming into camp overweight...out of shape."
"When your best player isn't your hardest worker, that's a problem."...
Well, nobody has clinched but I think Houston has the tiebreaker with both, but I'm almost certain they have it on Utah. I've been trying to find them but haven't had luck.
EDIT: Both tebreakers hinge on Conference record because spits occurred between all 3 teams.
Houston and Dallas 26-24...
If Houston finds a way to win tomorrow against Minnesota (it really isn't likely), I think they get the 8 spot. 1. If Utah loses to Dallas and Houston wins, I think it's over for the Jazz, but if Dallas loses to Utah and Houston wins, they have to beat SAS to get in. How likely is that?
Houston...
The thing is, who's going to beat them? I honestly don't think San Antonio is any better against Golden State with Tim Duncan. They're just not a good matchup for him at all. They'd just put Draymond at the 5 and let him give LA hell.
The biggest threat has to be OKC, in my opinion. SA is...
They are, regardless. I mean, I get it--the best record is the best team, but I think this is the best team of the last 30-40 years. Maybe I'm crazy, but they are practically unbeatable. Look at last night in Memphis. How many times has Golden State been down 8-10 with 5 minutes to go but...
I disagree. People continue to do stupid shit because they don't see legitimate consequences. Bring back the gallows for cut and dried, we-know-they-did-it because we fucking caught them criminals.
The Wolves have 2 sophomores and a rookie who all have top 10 potential. Obviously, Lavine is a REALLY long shot on that, but if he continues to become more efficient offensively and improves on defense, the dude has a really high ceiling. I know some of y'all are hesitant on him, but the guy is...
We've been talking about doing more writing, and I've offered to do so. I hadn't yet found the time to construct something that looks more professional, so I thought I'd throw something together quick that's a bit more raw and passionate. Obviously, if we ever needed these pieces to look more...
Take the driver of the Hummer and hang him on National TV. People need to see that there are real, tangible consequences for stupid shit like this or it will keep happening.
Rest in peace.
He certainly doesn't suck, but he's not a top tier Superstar. Those guys play defense. Those guys have leadership skills. Those guys don't alienate teammates.
