I'm still very happy to have a guy like Vernon in Toronto though and I wouldn't mind him retiring here. He is very loyal and he is still a good guy to have in the line-up and on the field. He's a great leader too.

tsn.ca I don't think this would be a bad idea depending on how long and how much the contract is. He could help our younger hitters and he is a great guy to have in the clubhouse I'd say.
