I don't think NBC's analysts suck, but I'll humor the idea. You think ESPN could do better? With who? The last thing anyone needs to hear is Buccigross saying "saucy" or "thin mints" or 50 times a night.
I can only imagine that their intention with Reigns is to get the fans to boo him so badly for so long that, eventually, they get tired and just say nothing.
I think seeing someone deal with an addiction and being addicted to something are similar but, ultimately, different situations. Regardless of that, this is less about addiction and more about substance abuse.
Fair enough. I may be making more of it than they wanted to, but I don't think you should have a showdown/stare down like that just to have one. They're teasing the crowd (who clearly wanted to see it) for something. Seems dumb to just leave it as an afterthought.
