What's worse is that if he just skated through him, i.e. not jumped, it'd be a perfectly fine hit. Maybe a little late, but otherwise not a big deal.
Does it really make sense for any of these guys to win it? Maybe Neville if they were actually trying to push him as a upper mid-card/possible #1 contender. But it's super early for that anyway.
I don't think he's back either. It was wishful thinking. But JBL is terrible because he's Vinny Mac/Kevin Dunn's puppet. You know when he's doing it and it's painful to listen to.
Jericho is a major voice, one that fans still respect, so I'm sure the idea was to try and take some heat from the fans off him. Obviously, that didn't work. The irony of that plan (just speculation on my part) backfiring is clearly lost on them, though.
