Pretender or Contender: Chicago White Sox

We have to agree to disagree.

Pretender or Contender: Chicago White Sox

It's hard to say to be honest.  I can't get scared of like the Cubs/Pirates/Cardinals because of the absolute garbage in the likes of the Reds and Brewers.

Pretender or Contender: Chicago White Sox

part of that is due to the competitiveness of the AL Central.  Just imagine if the AL Central could play in the NL.  Lots of teams to feast upon.

What makes it weak?  I keep hearing that but no one substantiates that.

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

My words were specifically about this subtopic about Mad Bum's power to Ruth's power when they both pitched.  My comment about your reading ability was specifically on that.  I did provide you an option to make it bigger if you wished.   If you wish to go you can, but I think you are being silly...

    Is Ichiro the Hit King?

The hit king is still Rose.  The competition is not the same.  That said, I have no reason to doubt that Ichiro would have had enough hits had he been here from day #1 as he has proven he could hit all pitching.

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

I'm not sure if you have a massive reading issue but you certainly do with this topic.   I am specifically speaking of Babe Ruth and MadBum as hitters when days they pitched.  That is all that is being compared.  Nothing more than that.  The correlation is just that.

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

They both have like 2200 innings pitched.  It's a very big correlation and the connection is pretty clear.  You keep putting on your "Babe Ruth became a great offensive force as an OF" glasses on.  Stop that.  No one is saying that.

A White Sox fire sale could net how many top 100 prospects?

True, but Sale in the NL goes straight to the level of Kershaw

A White Sox fire sale could net how many top 100 prospects?

He easily could.  Since 2012 he's a top ten pitcher in baseball

A White Sox fire sale could net how many top 100 prospects?

The question isn't are they, it's what would they get if they did.  Some of you all.   Anyway, Sale and Q probably bring 4-5 each in the top 100.   Abreu is done as someone special.  He starts hitting later, and later in the season.  I think he brings in maybe a pick in the top 100 and a couple...

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

You need to learn the definition of correlation.  In the words of Hannity, "Let me educate you..."   https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=define+correlation   Yes, it meets the definition.    But hey, rage on all you wish.

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

The correlation is that MadBum has the same amount of taters as Babe did when they were doing the same defensive position - pitching.

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

It's logical.  Your response should have been, I don't see the correlation, could you explain it to me so I could understand?

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

You need to take a few days off the net or something.  No one is saying that.  Next thing you are going to say that grass isn't pink.  Yeah we know.
  17. B

Mad Bum in the Home Run Derby?

And no one is saying he will.  You really need to relax.

Pretender or Contender: Chicago White Sox

It's really not that surprising.  It was a lot of smoke and mirrors.
