He's better. Taller, better on the defensive end (blocking/post defense), and although Giannis has been a good ball handler, I believe that Thon is better in that area as well.
Thon Maker without question. The man can do everything with a basketball and is being unheralded by teams right now because he didn't play in college. He'll be the star of the draft without question, let alone the steal.
Larry Bird has announced that the Indiana Pacers will not retain Frank Vogel as the team's head coach. When asked for further comment, Bird explained: "He and Frank Vogel spoke for about a half hour on the phone this morning, and that Vogel kept asking him to reconsider."
Pretty dumb move by...
I was going to post about this being a big loss for the Heat, but since they were the ones pressuring him not to return (oddly, for once) it's really only a big loss for Bosh.
In my opinion the White Sox are majorly overachieving at this point. The Cubs are far and away the best team in baseball with seemingly minuscule holes in their game. I don't really see how they will be stopped.
I think it depends on how the Pacers value players heading into the draft. If the Lakers pick jumps to #1 and they feel like Ben Simmons is the next big thing in the league, they might take a shot. Likewise, if they view some of the top bigs like Dragan Bender as a better long-term investment...
Early reports indicate that the Browns are looking for more picks, note necessarily higher picks. A deal could be centered around backloaded picks in the later rounds so that they can move up on Day 2/3 if they have a target.
Move makes too much sense for them. Mariota is getting the Tim Couch/David Carr treatment and needs protection... Best place to invest and arguably the top lineman in the draft.
Very good point. I'm not sure that Whitlock is actually that smart, and I personally think that this is just him spouting off with dumb shit, but I hadn't thought of that.
