I didnt see the first half so IDK - but from what I saw in the 2nd half is what we've been for 3 straight years --- a lotta short yardage throws, mid-yard throws get dropped, the occasional deep throw that is in tight coverage, and a random screen pass at a time that makes no sense.
Giants have so much talent, man.
But they're still gonna be a 5 win team at most. Probably less.
They need to rebuild that O-Line so badly, but they also need a QB of the future. And Linebackers. And pass rushers. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes this upcoming draft.
P.S. I also dont...
Also apparently Wright goes through a crazy rehab/prep for when he has to start a game. When he had the pinch hit, I felt like he was in pain walking back to the dugout. So I can see why why wouldn't want him out in the field for 9 innings.
I cant prove it but I dont think he wasnt 100%...
A) It was a marketing gimmick. Wright did it for the right reasons (wanted a chance to say goodbye to the fans) but the team milked it. Sold out stadium, standing room only spots going for $125 minimum. He had a pinch hit on Friday night. My guess is they wanted to limit his appearances to build...
my point is... if today mattered and a top 5 pitcher went against the rockies you wouldn't complain. But today doesnt matter so why are you complaining?
