Because he has a better overall game than Heatley. Heatley doesn't have very good speed and didn't seem to take things in San Jose seriously. Havlat is the better playoff performer too. Havlat > Heatley imo. I also think San Jose won the Setoguchi-Burns trade as they acquire another top...

So Derek Boogaard, Rick Rypien, and now Wade Belak. Boogaard died from mixing alcohol with a drug. Rypien died from depression stemming from the death of his girlfriend. Belak died from who knows what. I'd like to think there is no link to fighting in the NHL, but there's got to be something

I have to wonder what Phoenix is thinking. 4.5M for a player that put up 37 points in his last healthy season. If you're going to spend, spend it on something worth while.
