@PeachyRockinGal , I'm doing pretty well. Shoulder surgery last fall so I can't pitch again for a while, and probably more back surgery soon, but not bad for a senior citizen.
As to Pineda, I doubt if anyone will take a chance on him again. He has talent, but seems to need to bend the rules...
Gavin Lux looks like he could roll out of bed and hit 3 line drives into the gap. Graterol has really good stuff. I have seen him pitch a couple of times in the past and he was much better than his minor-league competition. McKay may stay on the mound.
Interesting how Diaz went from elite closer to mediocre at best in a short time. Perhaps the bright lights of New York didn't agree with him? He isn't the first player that couldn't make it in New York.
I just drafted my first team in 5 years. I really don't follow the game and only recognized a couple of names in the first few rounds. My first pick was Ezekiel Elliot and my last pick was Adam Vinatieri. I got Kyler Murray as my QB and the Texans' defense. Other than that, I just drafted...

With 27 games to go, the Twins have broken the record last year's Yankee team set. They have 8 players -- Jorge Polanco, Jonathan Schoop, CJ Cron, Miguel Sano, Mitch Garver, Eddie Rosario, Nelson Cruz and Max Kepler -- that have each hit more than 20 homers...
This is really sad. As a nurse, I have seen a lot of opioids used, but was hoping that they weren't the case here. I had a chance to talk to him a few times when he played in Cedar Rapids and he was a really good kid.
Right now, the Yankees, Twins and Astros hold division leads in the AL with Cleveland and Oakland holding the wild cards. Tampa is a game back of the 2nd wild card and Boston is 5 out.
In the NL, Atlanta, St Louis and The Dodgers hold the division leads with Washington and Chicago in the wild...
Of the 2, I think Kimbrel has the most to offer. He is a known commodity who should be well rested and won't need much to get back into baseball shape. Kuechel has been declining for the past few seasons and who knows what the team will get from him?
