So typical. The Rock took the belt from Punk?!? Really WWE?!?
Yes because they're plans are contingent on that.Obviously but at the expense of the best title run in DECADES?!?
totally agree.I'm still hoping Shield isn't working with Punk or at least screws him. It'd be much more interesting and unpredictable. Unless they're going for Heyman trying to take over WWE. I'd be on board with that.
IIRC it was the longest run with the belt since Hogan had it for 1000+ days in the late 80'sDecades? Really?
I'm not gonna downplay Punk's title run, love that guy and it was a good 400+ days. But I feel like if I'm gonna look at it closely I find plenty of stuff I didn't like about it. For example painting themselves into a corner by building a monster on the side and putting him prematurely in a no DQ title match, and having to do some ridiculous finish. No but it's definitely gotta be a factor. Punk was great with the belt. He and Jericho are probably the two best heels in the business at this point in time (I'm pretty sure Y2J returned last night as a face but he'll go heel eventually like he always does), Punk is amazing in the ring, amazing on the mic, etc. I can't think of a title run better since I started watching WWE many moons ago
I think Punk-Taker is more likely at this point.call me crazy.
vinny mac turns punk on heyman, but stays heel. heyman brings back lesnar, we have a match between the two at mania.
needs to happen.
lesnar just re-upped with wwe too
