That shoot promo from Punk was amazing. I seriously think Punk could be the best talker the WWE has ever had.

Rock was great back in the day, but he just didn't have it tonight. Really good promo overall though.

If you want to get technical, it's a work-shoot. All his promos come straight from the heart, but Vinny Mac isn't stupid, he knows what he's letting Punk do. Plus, Punk knows the buttons to push because he's that good.

Not taking anything away from how good he was because this is exactly what has been missing — captivating, meaningful promos.

Slam and Main event provides them with more income because 2 different TV stations are paying them to run it. Slam is mainly for the kids, so you know the $$$$$ are rolling in for that every saturday morning. Smackdown live happens once every 3 or 4 months or even a holiday and they still get poor ratings, and with the current Smackdown roster, you would prefer it taped than live lol.

I think they just let it be, but it more mostly Raw trying to get it ratings up with bring in the Smackdown stars, while Smackdown just have the Smackdown stars and maybe Raw stars when a supershow happens.
