i dont want to sound like a dick though
idk who else they could have taken instead of Rivers. i understand you have to draft someone (thats someone's cue to mention some rookie who is slipping my mind taken after Rivers)

in related news, poor Austin sucks

well no, but that was the original plan wasnt it?

he's playing 2 but if they want him as a long term solution, why keep Gordon?

but i understand you have to draft someone. you dont just draft based on wholes in the starting lineup

i just think a rebuilding team giving all that money to Gordon was dumb. mainly because of his history
and a max contract too. Steph Curry didnt even get a max

yeah he was so robbed in 08

btw, why does Ryan Anderson come off the bench? i feel like he's an asset the Hornets dont need
he's having a great season
I think Robin Lopez is basically just a stop gap, the Hornets could get out of his and Jason Smith's contracts this offseason for virtually nothing leaving Anderson and Davis as your only two bigs. I also think Lopez was brought in to be the guy next to Davis until he physically matures, I don't think anyone would disagree that Davis will be a C down the line. Like CC said, it may be a while but Ryan Anderson is only 24 years old so there is no rush to move Davis to C. When that time comes, Anderson and Davis are an excellent complement.

To the point of Austin, nobody could have predicted this from Greivis. Most just viewed him as a good backup that's having to play starter minutes until someone else can step into that spot. I remember saying I thought Greivis would average 12 and 7 and be a liability defensively, instead he's averaging 14 and 9 on the season and 17 and 10 in the last ten, and he's also not been a liability defensively.

Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson, Anthony Davis, Austin Rivers, Greivis Vasquez, and Robin Lopez's contracts all come to an end within the same year or two. So giving Gordon that deal really did no harm, especially considering we still have enough room to sign another max guy. After a few years if Gordon doesn't work out he can walk and we can resign those guys over two off seasons. In regard to the Lopez contract, Dell made the terms to where if he wanted too, he had five days to discuss contracts with any free agent he wanted to and if he felt we didn't have a good chance of signing that guy(s) he could just pick up Lopez's deal.

I saw something about he and Tyson Chandler earlier today, I'm gonna have to see if I can find it.

Literally the only thing Chucky Bynum is good for is throwing lobs to Dre.

Wow Stuckey. That was fucking pathetic. Shot it way too early and it was a terrible shot. What the fuck.
