You can only win the games on your schedule. We've done our job and beaten every team we've played, period. I've seen NE, SF, DEN, HOU, GB, etc. etc. all lose games they were favorites for against seemingly lesser opponents.

Its interesting you diminish the Falcons' record and then praise the Broncos 10-game win streak all in the same breath. Lets see

Broncos Opponents since last loss vs. NE: Chargers, Saints, Bengals, Panthers, Chiefs, Bucs, Raiders, Ravens, Browns
The Falcons have played (and beaten) every one of those teams except the Bengals, Ravens, and Browns

The Texans don't scare me at all, nor does New England to be completely honest. You tell me what secondary can stop all of our weapons in the dome come playoff time?
None of the teams being hailed as the best in the NFL scare me. I dare anybody to doubt or misjudge the Falcons in the playoffs, because I know its gonna come back and bite them in the ass
Nothing I say is gonna convince you. I've watched almost every single Falcons game since the late Vick era, and I know there's something different about this team, whether or not you refuse to believe it. I'm just excited to get the chance to prove all the doubters and haters wrong
Do I have to remind you what happened the last time Aaron Rodgers and Co. walked into the dome in a playoff game?

Well, remember that Atlanta helped GB with that one. At least Matt Ryan did when he threw the worst playoff pick 6 I've ever seen before halftime.

lmao, its ridiculous that your only argument is based off of what happened 2 YEARS AGO
this is a different team from the 2010 Falcons, Im not even arguing with such a ridiculously ignorant statement.
That doesnt even apply to stopping all our offensive weapons, considering that in 2010 we still had Jenkins and relied on Turner a hell of a lot more than we do now. We didnt have Julio in 2010, nor did we have Jacquizz to aid in the run game, and Gonzalez wasn't as much of a factor as he is this year

The point is you act like the Dome is some untouchable venue that no team can walk into and beat the Falcons in in the playoffs and that's just not true. You keep saying that we're stupid for looking at past years to indicate the Falcons' future playoff success but what else do you want us to look at? They haven't done anything yet this year that suggests to me that they're different, and they won't get a chance to until the playoffs. Until then, you can use your criteria, and I can use mine.

Different year, different team. Better team. The Dome nearly is untouchable, the Falcons are very hard to beat there so opposing teams better be on their game or they'll be done for the year. I fully believe this Falcons team is a better team and a team that will prove the past history wrong. People will use that against them, but I won't. I'd love to see a Seahawks/Falcons NFC Championship game.

The Patriots were like 23-0 at home before their loss to the Niners. We hadnt faced a team with a defense like that since the GMen

It doesn't matter about the streaks you have at home; if a tough team comes in and you don't perform well and they do, you can easily lose.

The thing that scares me more than anything is the Falcons are a pass-first team and we've seen plenty of games this year where Matt Ryan has looked terrible and they've barely beaten a team like the Cardinals or the Raiders, but that's not going to work in the playoffs. If that happens, they're done.

Matt Ryan has 7 touchdowns and only 1 interception against teams with winning records this season. In the Cardinals game, 3 of the 5 interceptions were tipped by the receivers, although Im not really one to make excuses. You can't just hold one bad game and judge his whole season off of that. In the last 5 games, Matt Ryan has 11 touchdowns and only 1 interception. On his way to finishing with a QBR over 100 for the season.
i never said there's no way we'd lose in the GA Dome, I didn't act like its some untouchable venue or whatnot. I'm saying the Falcons aren't simply gonna lay an egg again in the playoffs. This is a different team from previous years, whether or not you chose to believe it. Everybody refusing to believe the Falcons are legit based on previous years is ridiculous, period.

What are we supposed to base our predictions on?

We've yet to see them win a playoff game. You can talk about regular season all you want but come January it doesn't mean shit.

Trent Williams, pro bowler. Happy for the guy. He's really stepped his game up, and matured a LOT this season.

Im not saying previous playoff success shouldn't factor into your basis, but it sure as hell shouldn't be your only basis on what team will do well this year. People saying the Falcons are frauds all because of previous years is ignorant

All four teams
That's not the point, we didn't pick our schedule. The point is we're still successful against winning teams, so to say we have no chance against winning teams is ridiculous as well

But out of those four, two will make the playoffs, and one of those two were terrible when they played.

excuse
I'm not just gonna chalk up the Denver loss to them not having their shit handled at the start of the season. Thats bullshit if you believe that somehow after losing to the Pats some miracle over Mile High occurred where they became the most dominant force and put on a long win streak against all mediocre opponents to put it lightly
They lost against the good teams, plain and simple

I was talking about the Redskins

The Denver win is legitimate, although they too hadn't peaked yet
