I think everyone is quickly overhyping the Seahawks
They're a completely different team on the road, which is where they're gonna need to play well in the playoffs
Except if the Vikings, Cardinals, and Seahawks win next week, SEA is a 2 seed. Should Atlanta lose to a tough team (like the Niners), Seattle could be at home until the Super Bowl.

I doubt Arizona wins but who knows

I've been hyping them for weeks now. Good Rookie QB, smart player. Good running game. Good defense. What's not to like? I've also said for weeks now that the Redskins would win the division and I still stand by that. Both the Seahawks and Redskins are on a roll right now. If any team is overhyped, it's the 49ers.

Niners and Broncos are both overhyped
I don't see how the Falcons still remain under the radar. Its like every NFL "expert" skips over the Falcons and chooses a new team to be crowned "best in the NFL". Nobody gives em any damn credit or respect. I mean, its pretty ridiculous to diminish the Falcons' record by saying they have a "weak schedule", then go say the Broncos are the best team.
I just can't wait till playoff time

They don't get respect because they're constantly getting bounced early.

Sounds like the Falcons to me.

I'll skip over the Falcons until they win a playoff game. Then again, if they get the Christian Ponder led Minnesota or the depleted defense of Dallas in the second round, I won't be too impressed with a victory.

You obviously havent been watching the Falcons this year then. We're not the same team on the road that we used to be
The past playoff results excuse seems like utter bullshit to me anyways. Sure, let's judge THIS YEAR'S team by PAST YEAR results. Give me a break...
What's happened in years before is no reason to question the legitimacy of this year's team

I better not ever see you question Tony Romo based on the past, then.

Probably because the team is exactly the same as last year.

Wow, I see how far your football knowledge stretches...
thats ignorant, considering this is hardly anything like last year's team. Replaced Mularkey's predictable offense with Koetter, much inproved defense under Nolan, Matt Ryan having the best year of his career (set to finish up the season with a QB Rating over 100), significantly less reliable on Turner and the run game, career years out of pretty much our entire secondary (DeCoud and William Moore have really stepped up this year to say the least, and the addition of Asante Samuel has helped), 2 receivers over 1000 yards with another nearing 1000 yards, Top 5 scoring offense AND defense, etc.
So, tell me what makes this team so much like last year's?

The roster is exactly the same except for Asante but Grimes is gone so it doesn't matter.

Your schedule has as much to do with your success as anything. Admit that much.

Falcons Road Schedule:

W vs KC
W vs SD
W vs WAS
W vs PHI
L vs NO
W vs TB
L vs CAR
W vs DET

One of those teams will be over .500 by seasons end. And that team (WAS) was 3-6 by Week 10

They will get killed by HOU/NE/DEN if they make it to the Super Bowl (although I think SF or GB will beat them)

You can only win the games on your schedule. We've done our job and beaten every team we've played, period. I've seen NE, SF, DEN, HOU, GB, etc. etc. all lose games they were favorites for against seemingly lesser opponents.

Its interesting you diminish the Falcons' record and then praise the Broncos 10-game win streak all in the same breath. Lets see

Broncos Opponents since last loss vs. NE: Chargers, Saints, Bengals, Panthers, Chiefs, Bucs, Raiders, Ravens, Browns
The Falcons have played (and beaten) every one of those teams except the Bengals, Ravens, and Browns

The Texans don't scare me at all, nor does New England to be completely honest. You tell me what secondary can stop all of our weapons in the dome come playoff time?
None of the teams being hailed as the best in the NFL scare me. I dare anybody to doubt or misjudge the Falcons in the playoffs, because I know its gonna come back and bite them in the ass
Nothing I say is gonna convince you. I've watched almost every single Falcons game since the late Vick era, and I know there's something different about this team, whether or not you refuse to believe it. I'm just excited to get the chance to prove all the doubters and haters wrong
