I don't know what Dumars is doing. Continuing to sit on his fat ass and do nothing. Then again, he has always done that.

His past moves have got him here, so I'm not standing up for the guy, but making moves with the players on your roster is probably very difficult.

His past moves are vastly overrated if you really look at them. And he has plenty more awful moves than good moves.

he took gambles that paid off. had they failed he wouldve looked dumb but he still wouldve had a job. it has to be hard to make moves with our roster but the fact that we dont even hear rumors about him trying to make deals is whats so shitty.

he values our guys so much. our team is ass and he still thinks we can work it out.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, his poor decisions are while yall are just kind of stalled. Lets be honest, yall aren't moving Monroe, Drummond, or Knight.

Who would want Charlie V, Stuckey, Prince, Maggette, or Jerekbo on their current deals?

Well Charlie's deal is a joke. Stuckey is a bit over-paid, Prince has a solid deal, Maggette is expiring, and Jerekbo has a modest deal.
The only un-moveable contract would be Charlie V imo.

stuckey could be waived next season and the team who has him would only owe $3M. if we dont move him id like to see us just cut him.

Not a chance. I see Stuckey becoming the next Rip. (in terms of overstaying his welcome)
Mainly because he traded Billups like an idiot cause he thought Stuckey would be good enough to replace him, and doesn't want to look like an idiot.

Prince has 22 million over 3 years left, who's going take on that contract? The only teams that would trade for him are contenders and what do they really have to give in return? Maybe it's solid for y'all, but that's a bad deal for other teams. He makes nealy 8 million in the last year.

Jerekbo has something like 13 or 14 mill left over 3 years, 4.5 a year. It's going to be hard to convince teams to take on a guy who has declined every year he has been in the league with that contract. Teams could get multiple players who are better than Jerekbo for 4.5 a year. That's a hefty price for a big. Look at Jason Smith who is one of the better bench bigs in the game, he's only making 2.5 a year.

To be fair, EVERY Pistons fan on this board thought that Iverson for Billups trade was good at the time, and that Stuckey would be a MORE than adequate replacement for Billups at the point.

I'm also pretty sure every Pistons fan was in favor of signing Gordon and Villanueva but I don't remember that one as well.

That was also prior to every Piston fan hating Joe Dumars.

I didn't realize there were rules to changing your beliefs on different transactions.
