you can either say every single game counts, or none of em do. they still make up your final record.

it's like votes.

No games minus Thunder, Spurs, and Heat games matter using that moronic logic.
It's far from moronic. Games this early in the season don't matter, they just don't. It's one of the many reasons NBA analysts, coaches, players, and so on on think the season should be shortened. And that has been true for a long time in the NBA.

That's not true, not even close. Shortened season means less games which makes for more important games.

I loved the shortened schedule last year.

yes it is true and people will still use the line "its just the regular season, wait until the playoffs"

i would prefer a shorter season but this bs will still happen.

Those people are idiots then and shouldn't be taken seriously. And of course the entire thing depends on just how much the season is shortened.

Shorter season means less games which means more time between games which means less basketball to watch which means it's a bad idea

Word. The more basketball the merrier.
Oh I completely agree with that, I'm not saying the schedule should be shortened (even though like I said I loved the schedule last year, but I'm sure the players weren't in favor). Same way with how I would love to see the NFL go to 18 game regular seasons but I know the players don't favor it.

But the season IS too long though. Outside of the true hardcore fans, everyone agrees with that. Baseball is the same way, they both need to be shortened because it drags on too long.

The playoffs also need to be shortened.
