Not saying I don't know Lamb, but you know Brooks wont play him much, if at all this season
he's not a low pick scrub, he was a lottery player and had he come out sooner he would've been a higher pick. he can play now, it'll help him be ready to play even more next season.

I don't know how high Lamb would've been picked if he came out as a freshman. Either way it would have been stupid of him, though.

This is the same scotty brooks who leaves Perkins in the game late when he's getting burned all game.

Not saying I disagree, I'm just so used to stubborn coaches with rooks

Anyways, James is doing it again

perkins is making $12M, he needs to be played so its not a complete waste.

I don't want to overreact to one game, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Magic were better than people expected this year. They don't have a lot of talent but they play hard. I'm not sure what the ceiling is though, probably not very high.

i honestly was going to say that before the season started. they dont have much but they still have a decent core but their ceiling is still low. i just dont think they're the worst low.

If Arron Afflalo and Glen Davis can play like they're expected to, and the young guys don't lay an egg, I feel like this team would be alright. I WANT the team to suck so we get a pick, but at the same time I'm not the kind of guy who can root for a team to lose, and I get excited when the team plays like they did tonight. One thing's for sure, this team has a chip on their shoulder; they seem offended that they're predicted to be so bad and WANT to prove everyone wrong.

Since Scott Brooks is being discussed, he still sucks too. Terrible coach whose flaws are mostly hidden by two of the best ISO players in the league.

We suck again
I was going to say man. I feel bad for Kyrie. Again I'll give a disclaimer that it's hard for me not to overreact but I'm trying not to. But this team is FAR off. I wanted to be the cool guy who picked them to get the 8 seed and surprise people but outside of Kyrie they're terrible. Waiters is going to be a trial by fire kind of guy. Like I said, I feel bad.

its so hard cheering for your team to lose. i lost so much interest in all of basketball, not just detroit, when i was cheering for L's.

The Cavs were by far the worst team in the league 2 years ago, so it's not a surprise they're still far off. Another high lotto pick, and a high priced free agent in one of the next two off-seasons should put the Cavs back in the playoffs.

Also it'd be great if Byron Scott ditched his rotations of playing all backups for 6-7 minutes to start the 2nd quarter. Our starting lineup is good, bench sucks, which is why Waiters should get taken out with like 4-6 mins left in the first quarter and start the 2nd with the 2nd unit.
