My post was a joke... I don't think brosox's was though.
He's better than Dragic, Teague, and about the same level as Lawson.Rondo, CP3, Deron, Russ, Kyrie, DRose, Parker, Nash, Lawson, Jrue, Curry, Jennings, Jeff Teague, Wall, Dragic
That's 15 guys that are 100% better than Lin. I'd take other guys over him too
Houston Rockets' owner Les Alexander pushed for the franchise to sign Jeremy Lin, according to sources.
Lin became a global icon with a series of remarkable performances for the New York Knicks.
The basketball people of the Rockets were not as high on Lin as ownership, according to sources.
Lin signed a three-year, $25 million contract with the Rockets in July.

I think Lin proved he can run an offense and win just fine. His turnovers will go down. They both are explosive quick athletes. I give Lawson a slight edge on speed and defense. and Lin the slight edge on scoring. They are both very similar players.Lawson is easily better than Lin, there's a lot more to the game than stats (though I'd disagree that they will end up averaging around the same). I could see Lawson being a 18 and 7 type of guy, where I think the best Lin could hope for is 14 and 6. Lawson can run a offense better, can push the break better, is more efficient, has a higher assist ratio, takes better care of the ball, is a better defender...
All we have of Lin is a sample size. We literally know next to nothing about him. Players take the league by storm all the time only to be brought back down to earth quickly.I think Lin proved he can run an offense and win just fine. His turnovers will go down.
