Players don't nearly "take the league by storm" like Lin did though. Lin did it over an, in the grand scheme of things, small sample size, but it was larger than a guy like Lester Hudson who had three good games. I have no doubt that Jeremy Lin will at least be a solid starter for the Rockets. I read on ESPN insider that only 20-something players have ever had a stretch as good as Lin had. The dude will be fine. He's going to be under a microscope and overanalyzed, sure. But saying he isn't a starter quality point guard is ABSURD and was completely proven wrong last year.All we have of Lin is a sample size. We literally know next to nothing about him. Players take the league by storm all the time only to be brought back down to earth quickly.
