They seem like they should do damage, and are capable of it, just seem to be a different team come playoff time.

Falcons are gonna do some damage this year
I keep trying to tell yall
Haven't we heard this over the last two years? They'll beat up on creampuffs in the regular season again, and get smacked in the post-season.

The Falcons have a long way to go as a team before I'd feel comfortable picking them to make a 'splash' in the playoffs.

Houston will be back for Sunday's game. Hopefully Bentley will play too. Doubt Delmas will though.

Will be sweet to have Houston back, and Bentley, but at least one of them is a plus. I'm starting to forget what Delmas even looks like in an actual game lol.

I wish the media even gave half a damn about the Falcons...
Even after the big primetime win, all they talk about is Manning...

I will admit that I have been very impressed with Matt Ryan. I hope for his sake he can keep this going.. because that offense looks pretty lethal.

I understand they are trying to protect players, and blatant penalties and whatnot should be fined. But these players know what they are signing up for.

Seems like a good block to me lol.

Specifically, NFL rules have changed in recent years, limiting where a blocker can strike a defensive player who is in pursuit of an opponent and does not see the block coming. In that situation, the player in pursuit is classified as defenseless and cannot be struck above the shoulders.

Tate said after the game he believed he struck his opponent in the chest. However, the rule also limits striking the opponent with the helmet.

Well that's dumb. Wasn't above the helmet. And I don't get why helmet striking should be illegal in the opponent's chest. Does more damage to the one striking with the helmet I presume, assuming he does keep it below the shoulders.

Because its a Bill Belichick thing to do by confusing everyone, my prediction for Sunday night is Wes Welker has like a 10/120 game
