The way I've understood it was that the NFL wants their refs to be full time but they don't want to pay them full time.

I agree though, the replacement refs shouldn't be the ones taking the blame. They have been bad, but they shouldn't be in this situation to begin with.

Yeah, the NFL deserves their fair share of criticism for this. People can blame the officials or whoever else but the NFL is at fault for allowing this to happen, they are allowing the integrity of the game to be taken away. They are just as much to blame as anybody in this. I just wish they'd take care of it so I don't have to listen to it every weekend, it's getting old. Instead of talking about football, it's about the officials. I've gotten on these officials but I feel for them, I could just see myself in their position and what it would be like.

He lost a step, Falcon fans treat him like some horrible RB now on their board.

This game reminds me when the Saints played the Browns in 2010, the Browns defense was just all over the place and there was no way of telling what they were going to do.

He definitely has but he's not horrible, just not quite as effective as he used to be.

Don't blame the NFL for the replacement refs. Blame the greedy refs. They already get paid good enough. And one of the reasons the refs are holding up a deal is because they don't want to be having some full-time refs because they have other jobs outside of football..But I bet with that full-time job with the NFL they would be way more than enough money to live lol.
