Just going online and on SportsCenter: Hawks have agreed in principle to deal Marvin Williams to Utah for Devin Harris to shed even more $

Looks like the Hawks are cleaning house. They haven't really gotten anything even close to being valuable in these deals while moving pieces that have value on the court. That's a bit concerning.

Marv still gives you 10/5 and JJ still gives you 20 a night. I know their contracts were terrible.

I don't think a full out rebuild is what this team needed, which is what they're doing it looks like right now. It needed more of shake-up, not a tear down.

I think Marv and JJ were both just CAP aiding trades. Ferry said he's meeting with Smoove so I believe he plans to keep him in ATL.

It needed a tear down. The goal of an NBA franchise is not to continuously get bounced in the 2nd round or earlier. They were stuck on a treadmill, and the only way off was tearing it apart.

Joe is still really good. no one is taking that deal though. dumping him was solid
Marvin is an ok player, but what could they get better than Devin Harris? frees more money

if you arent getting good pieces, at least free up money. they did that
