he and Morey are having a trade contestFerry makin moves doe. Executive of the Year already
Marv still gives you 10/5 and JJ still gives you 20 a night. I know their contracts were terrible.what pieces BC?
Marvin sucks. they freed up money. got as good a return as they could
trading Joe for anything is a win. no other team besides the Nets takes that contract
I think Marv and JJ were both just CAP aiding trades. Ferry said he's meeting with Smoove so I believe he plans to keep him in ATL.They're clearly rebuilding, I don't see how Josh Smith isn't traded.
It needed a tear down. The goal of an NBA franchise is not to continuously get bounced in the 2nd round or earlier. They were stuck on a treadmill, and the only way off was tearing it apart.Marv still gives you 10/5 and JJ still gives you 20 a night. I know their contracts were terrible.
I don't think a full out rebuild is what this team needed, which is what they're doing it looks like right now. It needed more of shake-up, not a tear down.
i understand what you're sayingMarv still gives you 10/5 and JJ still gives you 20 a night. I know their contracts were terrible.

Spot on.It needed a tear down. The goal of an NBA franchise is not to continuously get bounced in the 2nd round or earlier. They were stuck on a treadmill, and the only way off was tearing it apart.
