If the Cavs draft Beal, and he picks to wear #23, it's going to be the most overblown story of the summer.

People are going to say he's trying to replace LeBron, ignoring the part where he wore it during high school and at Florida.

Austin Rivers, Duke Blue Devils
Rivers is so good with the ball and has such an uncanny ability to get past defenders and get into the lane that I believe he will do very well in the NBA. He is quick with the ball and can get his own shot, and defenders have a tough time staying in front of him.

Put Rivers in the NBA, where the rules will benefit that skill, and you have an offensive weapon. Rivers is a good shooter but can still refine his perimeter shot, and he needs to be a more consistent handler and passer, but he is a willing defender and willingly takes on challenges. Some have questions about his demeanor or "cockiness," but I don't. Rivers competes and will be very good in the NBA.
This is why Jay Bilas is that dude. Real recognize real.

I have a feeling he may be the pick for the Hornets. I heard Monty and Doc have been talking a lot lately about him.

I've liked Rivers since the start of the college basketball season, you're way behind CC

I've been saying that he's severely underrated throughout this whole drat process as well

This is not new

The Wizards will take whichever player of their top two choices remains on the board at three. Their preference is Beal, the shooter from Florida who could help fill Washington's desperate need to improve from the perimeter; only Sacramento and Charlotte shot a worse 3-point percentage than the Wizards. But a young team that needs to surround Wall with as many hard-nosed players as possible would also be happy with Kidd-Gilchrist, who would have a chance to step in right away and start at the three spot.
If TRob goes #2, who goes to Cleveland? Barnes, or MkG?

MKG is #2 on the Cavs board behind Davis.

The Bucks have worked up a short list of draft targets and Tyler Zeller and Meyers Leonard are slotted in the top two spots.

John Henson, Perry Jones III and Terrence Ross also are in the mix for Milwaukee’s top pick.

Fab Melo and Kyle O’Quinn are scheduled to workout for the Bucks on Thursday.

The Charlotte Bobcats are eyeing the possibility of dealing the No. 2 overall pick in a trade that would bring a more established player, multiple sources told CBSSports.com.

Rod Higgins and Rich Cho understand that the Bobcats need more than just a talented rookie, whether it be Bradley Beal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Harrison Barnes, Thomas Robinson or even Andre Drummond -- to make the Bobcats competitive from their laughingstock of a season.

One source said that Oklahoma City's James Harden could be in play due to the Thunder's salary situation following next season. GM Sam Presti already has Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on the books for more than $29 million next season -- and both Harden and Serge Ibaka will command huge contracts after the 2012-13 campaign.
