The Blazers curse is getting stronger. The next injury to a Blazer will probably be fatal. RIP Drummond.
No team would be willing to trade the #2 pick for just #14 and #16.I wonder if Houston will trade 14 and 16 to go up to 2 and draft Drummond.
Being a Senior hurts your draft stock, but I like him a lot. What do you all think about Jeff Taylor?
Concerned about his reach at 6'6" being shorter than mine at 6'3"
They might be able to sway NO with a package of 14 16 and All-NBA PG Kyle Lowry for 1 and 10, though. They wouldn't even even be able to get #8 with those picks.
Harrison Barnes acknowledged his shortcomings at the NBA pre-draft combine.
“The biggest thing I need to improve on is ball-handling and creating for others,” Barnes said. “Creating great shots for teammates doesn’t just make the team better, it makes you better.”
Barnes' stock has fallen, in part because he failed to diversity his game.
“At Carolina you’re surrounded by very good players, so your job is very specific,” Barnes said of his seeming lack of versatility and dominance. “The NBA is different – more isolations, more pick-and-rolls. I’ll be ready.”
I REALLY like Harkless. Granted Duke could not guard SFs at all this year but Harkless looked great against Duke. I think he would've been a top 10 pick had he stayed in school next year. What you boys think of Moe Harkless though?
hmmmmmAustin Rivers has reportedly received a promise from a team picking in the late lottery, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.
Rivers did not fully participate in the NBA pre-draft combine last week.
He is scheduled to workout for Portland, Toronto, Houston, Cleveland, Phoenix, Washington and New Orleans.
The Suns own the 13th overall pick and have been open about their desire to add a perimeter scorer.
