Time for Ray Allen to come to the other side of this series next year
I think Ray will retire, but we'll have Jeff Green and Bradley back. It's a shame the Celtics got fucked in game 2... they shoulda had this series. I hope they bring it back for one more year because with the draft picks they have and a healthy Avery Bradley they can still compete.
If it's the end for them, one hell of a run.
There is a 0% chance Ray plays for someone aside for the Celtics next yearTime for Ray Allen to come to the other side of this series next year
i hope you guys can build upon the team and stay in contention. im just not sure if you will.I think Ray will retire, but we'll have Jeff Green and Bradley back.
KG and Bass will re-up as well.
We will have ~$30M in cap space to get some good FAs. Plus the 2 picks
If the Celtics are rebuilding, why would he want to go back? There is a 0% chance Ray plays for someone aside for the Celtics next year
He is most likely retiring, but Boston is his family. And we would probably be competing if Ray and KG were backIf the Celtics are rebuilding, why would he want to go back?
He'll want another shot at a ring.
What better place to go for it than Miami?
Not when derrick rose is gonna be missing a good chunk of the seasonHe is most likely retiring, but Boston is his family. And we would probably be competing if Ray and KG were back
And FWIW, Chicago would be a 1000x better fit than Miami
Bench player, or starter and #1/2 scoring option for half a seasonNot when derrick rose is gonna be missing a good chunk of the season
If he's caring about starting/not starting at this point, he's doing it wrongBench player, or starter and #1/2 scoring option for half a season
It's not even close
They were missing two of their top 7 players and they also have 2 firsts and cap room to go out and get players.Unless Ray simply doesn't want to play anymore, I don't see why he would retire. He has a lot of basketball left in him.
If Ray and KG are back next year, you're not rebuilding anymore, and your team will look incredibly similar to this years team, which wasn't good enough.
The Bulls would not be a good fit, they're not winning a ring next year. Rose will miss a large chunk of time with the injury and he definitely won't be the same player right when he comes back.
