How come the Nets arent your favorite team anymore?
They are. I took them off during the lockout and forgot to put them back on.

On another note, let's listen to "Omar from Brooklyn."

The Nets’ plan is to sign Dwight Howard outright this summer, re-sign Deron Williams and re-sign Brook Lopez on an annual salary of approximately $10 million, according to sources.
Said another official, who has been involved in deal talks with Orlando, New Jersey and the agents in the process: "Dwight is going to [expletive] them, and that will be especially true if he doesn’t even ask for the sign-and-trade on July 1, because he wants Brooklyn to keep assets."

Dwight is rapidly becoming my least favorite person in the NBA.

well now they're screwed
they could've had Bynum, but nope. they probably could have gotten rid of Hedo too. but nope

now they have no leverage with Dwight's heart set on the Nets

The Orlando Magic are coming to grips with the reality that they will have to trade Dwight Howard before Thursday's 3 p.m. ET deadline, and Howard's preferred team -- the Nets -- are emerging as the most likely trade partner, league sources told CBSSports.com.

i love that guy. He's always on WFAN, and so much that on Boomer and Carton on MSG, when he calls in, they show a picture of him at the bottom of the screen.

if i were the nets i wouldn't offer anything major. let dwight know they want him but let him walk there. the fact that orlando is letting him fire the gm and coach is beyond stupid.

dwight wants to be "the man" and doesnt want to go to LA or Chicago because he'd be second fiddle

but to be the man, you need to take over games late

with the Nets, why would Dwight get the ball late when you have Deron?

Difference between being second fiddle to Deron and Kobe/Rose. Those fan bases have an unwavering love for both players, him and Deron would be viewed as equals, outside of late-game situations.
