I thought you said 5th? We should make a bet ahah
4th/5th round. Could be 3rd depending on the run at QBs that happens in the 2nd, but I don't think its going to be a big one.

3rd round and 5th are a big difference, no matter what the run is..
Either way, 3rd is what he is now. Through interviews, and he whole process, I still say 2nd. 3rd at the least.

"Many NFL scouts" reportedly believe Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins could be in store for a quick rise up draft boards, in the same vein as what Andy Dalton did last year.
The media consensus in Mobile was that Cousins was the Senior Bowl's second best quarterback, behind Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden. There was a large gap behind those two. Per Sporting News' Russ Lande, Cousins "displayed very good arm strength to make every NFL throw with excellent zip." Cousins' decision making and stature (6'2/209) have been criticized a bit, but Dalton was the 35th overall pick last year after weighing in at 6'2/213.

Yup, he sure is a 5th rounder.

I honestly knew he was Dalton-esque, and seeing as how Dalton turned out, I don't think Cousins is a 2nd tier. He's right between tier 1 and 2, hence my top 50 grade.

Luck and Griffin are the only top-tier QB's in this draft. If you aren't a top 15 prospect at QB, you are second tier or lower.

That's just my grading scale, though.

Also, after the Senior Bowl practises, a lot of buzz about Doug Martin.
Love Martin. Have for a long time now. My #3 back.

Isaiah Pead and Bobby Wagner are two of my sleeper guys, both making plays in the senior bowl.

Didn't catch most of it, but see Wilson, Cousins and Lindley have TD passes.

Just finished watching the Senior Bowl. The interior lineman out of Iowa State looks pretty good. He was kicked out to RT for the game and handles Quinton Coples for much of the day. Fairly impressive. Also liked the LT out of tOSU. Mike Adams really held his own and some team will be lucky to have him next year.

I asked this before, but didn't get a answer.

Who are some good pass rushers that would be available in the late 2nd and on?

Keep an eye on Olivier Vernon. He's more of an unknown because he never really had a chance to consistently put together anything special in college, (suspensions, part of a deep rotation 2 years ago, etc.) but he did show flashes of potential.

He should dominate the combine. He's an incredible athletic specimen. I don't think any team will take a risk on him before the 4th round, but he could end up being a steal.

I don’t know. He’s had flashes, but I don’t think he’s going to be a sleeper.

What I saw him do makes me think he’ll be a good backup OLB.

SI draft analyst @TonyPauline's top-5 QBs for the 2012 NFL draft: 1) Luck 2) RG3 3) Tannehill 4) Weeden 5) Osweiler
So much for the Cousins hype

I don't get the Tannehill hype... I just don't buy it. Foles is a better prospect than him, imo.

WesBunting Wesley Bunting
Last point, talking with scout on way down to Arkansas, said he liked #Alabama RB Trent Richardson more than Adrian Peterson as a prospect

Another exciting episode of Scout's Say the Darndest Things.

That's probably because Peterson had injury issues throughout his college career and Richardson has been a rock
