No. By beating the Nets badly they're proving to him that Orlando is a better situation for him to win in than New Jersey is.

And Brook being out means nothing because if Dwight goes to NJ Brook is coming to Orlando.

There's no doubt that Orlando has a better team than Jersey if they both stay on their current team, but there is no chance Deron is going to Orlando and Dwight on NJ is better than the current Nets team and better than the current Orlando team.

The only thing that could keep Dwight in Orlando is some team making a really bad deal and trading Orlando someone that Dwight thinks he can win with or them winning a championship.

I'm not gonna disagree with anything you said. But I think this situation is different than other superstars demanding trades in the past because I feel like Dwight is actually giving the Magic a chance to convince him to stay.

All homerism aside, I really wouldn't count this Magic team out. It's their first full-year together with much of the core they have now (J-Rich and Turk came in mid-season last year). Both of those players are looking MUCH better than they did last year as well (sample size = very small but I'd expect both to have better #s than last year). Ryan Anderson is emerging as a QUALITY NBA player, Glen Davis is a great addition because he's a guy that does all the little things, etc.

They're probably one player away, but I see no reason why this can't be a top 3 team in the East IF Dwight buys in and doesn't allow this whole trade speculation to be a distraction. (That's a huge IF)

I've been impressed with Marshon so far this year. He looks like he's going to be a really good scorer in this league for a long time.

Westbrook is just going to keep shooting until he makes it, once he does, he'll shoot some more.

Has Dwight always complained and made faces everytime something doesn't go his way on the court? Seems to be doing it a lot tonight, never really noticed it this much before.

OKC should explore moving Harden for a big who can score in the post. They'd be unstoppable.

I have Harden on my fantasy team...at least 1 of my 3 teams.

I love Harden, I think he has a great role on that team. But I also think he is somewhat of a luxury for them, and not so much of a necessity with Durant and Westbrook also playing the wing.

They really don't have a big they can get the ball to and look for him to score. Their bigs are averaging just 15.7 points a game (only three games though so that's more than likely an anomaly). But even last year their leading guy was Serge Ibaka with 9.9 ppg. Could you imagine a guy that they could isolate in the lowpost and get them 16-18 ppg? My god.

Harden for Howard :p lol
Maynor, Harden, and Ibaka could get the Magic listening to be honest.

Russy would have to be traded for a pass-first PG ASAP though because he would not be able to play third fiddle to KD and Dwight.

1) Russell Westbrook doesn't play the wing -___-

2) Serge averaged 11 PPG post All-Star break and he's 22 yrs old... give him some time. They don't need to trade Harden. He's a huge asset to that team, not a luxury.

They should try and get either Millsap or Jefferson from the Jazz. Think both would be a nice fit. More-so Jefferson though.

Benson is in the final stages of negotiations to purchase the Hornets from the league according to one person who is/was also bidding on purchasing the Hornets. Arena lease & corporate sponsor must be finalized first but he is the leading candidate. State working on plans to redevelop a parcel of property adjacent to New Orleans Arena (soon to be Zatarain's/Louisiana Seafood Arena) next to parking garage for new entertainment/retail/parking/& practice facility to tie into Champion's Square. Influential group out of Baltimore, MD is designing the project as part of lease agreement with state and tie in with Superdome/Arena/Benson Tower. Arena is rumored to get a major cosmetic facelift with all glass restaurant/bar facing interstate where green wall is now. Person bidding believed the Benson's proposal was by far the best although it wasn't the highest bid for the Hornets as of yet.
