This isn't the NBA. Their playing careers are significantly shorter, money is money.

People don't think Tebow sucks after one loss against the best QB in the league, do they? #ignorant

Cheato, I may be wrong here, but it sure looks like they've done a whole lot with McCoy.

There's not much to work with there.. You need an actually talented QB.

He can't extend defenses and he takes forever going through his reads. He makes his offensive line look much worse then it actually is. Pretty sure they rank as an average or an above average offensive line. (Joe Thomas and Mack are all-pros, Pashos is a good pass blocker)

Honestly, I see a lot of the same things in Barkley. He won't be able to stretch the field, too inconsistent, and is small, doesn't have a big arm. You better hope you guys take Griffin if it's a QB.

Either way, I think someone is gonna like Griffin that much, that St. Louis will trade with them. St. Louis could get a lot for that pick, and they sure as hell aren't gonna take a QB after giving Bradford $86 million.

And Cheato, IDK if you are a big draft guy yourself, but if you are, I've got links to whole games of up to 126 prospects. If you do draft stuff.

I'm not a huge fan of Barkley, but I wouldn't be opposed to taking him. I would not take him over Griffin or Blackmon, and I'd be split on him and Trent. He wouldn't be ideal, because realistically if we get the 4th pick, all 3 guys I would take over him would be available.

I don't see how a trade down at #2 is going to work. It's too much for a team to make a deal on.

And I'm big on the draft, but I don't really do mocks or much with it. I just throw out my opinions that look foolish years down the line.

I'm not big a Barkley myself. I think he's the type of guy that a West Coast system would really help him.

You don't think St. Louis is willing to move down to lets say around 8-10, grab Jefferey or o-line, and get another early second rounder, and probably a 4th? I could see a team that falls in love with RG3, and that's certainly a good trade for the Rams.

Even if they're only going from 2 to 8-10, they're going to want more then a 2nd and a 4th.

Throw in a player. But RG3 is the try of player that teams will do that for. Because not only is he a good player, he's exciting, and will bring in merchandise, and ticket sales.

Also, this is from ESPN Insider:

Well, they're both 5-9 now, and a team who needs a QB just jumped them both. I'm not sure how people around the league grade Griffin and Barkley, but I can't imagine they have them that far apart, making it an option for the Dolphins/Skins to just take who falls to them. Obviously one would miss out, unless they trade up.

But they specifically like Griffin. Honestly, I think the Browns go Blackmon, because Holmgren did say that it takes a long time to groom a QB, and I don't think he wants to restart. Also, if a team does miss out on Griffin, I strongly feel they should trade down for Tannehill rather than Barkley.

I would take Tannehill at 20 rather than Barkley at 4. More value, and Tannehill has just as much upside.

It takes time to groom a QB but there is no reason to go forward with a guy when you took him in the 3rd round when he has shown you nothing to make you believe he is a franchise QB with his 16+ starts.

I'd be perfectly fine with Blackmon, but I wouldn't go forward with Colt.. I'd sign a stop gap (Campbell, Orton, someone..) and then draft a QB next year.

How has he looked this season?

He was one of the best physical specimens I had ever seen coming out of high school. Absolute freak athlete. He had a decent career in college, but was never able to put it all together and dominate like he should have.
Just now seeing this post..He started out slow but he's been seeing a lot more time on the d-line recently. He's been one our best d-lineman the last part of the season.

Game of the Week next sunday:

Giants vs. Jets

Two very desperate NY teams fighting for their playoff lives. The battle for New York supremacy. Should be a great game full of mistakes, interceptions, dropped balls, fumbles, and blow coverage's.

Oh yea and Fuck the Jets.

Hope the Giants win that one.. They are generally pretty good coming off of a loss, aren't they?
