Maybe you don't want to admit it, but Kevin Martin isn't an all-star talent or much better then a role player. He's a chucker who plays absolutely no defense. You aren't winning many games or competing for anything more then the 8th seed if he's your leading scorer.

Did I read that right, the Lakers are trading Odom to the Mavericks for a trade exception? So the main piece they were giving New Orleans for CP3, was given away for free.. Tells you a lot about that trade.

I don't think they would've just switched focus over to Dwight without getting far in a deal with the magic. They probably have been working on something with the magic. No way they would trade Odom to the Mavs just for a trade exception without having something in place.
