it's horse shit that 3 GMs made a deal, and the NBA nixed it because stern thinks he knows more about basketball than these 3

Considering Stern said the Hornets need to trade Paul for more youth and picks, he seemingly knows a lot more then Demps.

From what I remember the Hornets had to include Okafor or Ariza to even make the deal work.
yea i tried the deal without Ariza or Okafor on ESPN's Trademachine and it failed.

Also, apparently this David West sign-and-trade could kill the CP3 trade talks.

Nah it's something weird, I think the CP trade has to take place before the DWest trade or something like that.

Not sure how trustworthy this guy is but he has a series of tweets:

Of course Stern signed off on the deal. I wouldn't have mentioned it being a "DONE DEAL". More youth goes to NO. #Lakers

Breaking: The 3 way deal is a done deal. Deal will be announced tomorrow morning. Too late for a press conference tonight. #Lakers

It Also looks like Jermaine Oneal will be a #Laker as soon as he gets released from the #Hornets.

The #Lakers have another asset coming with CP3, but I can't tell you who it is. But the deal is done.

ESPNSteinLine: Just filed to ESPN w/@Chris_Broussard: New trade framework of original three-team CP3 deal has been submitted to league office for approval
I'm just ready for all of this to be over.

Can't wait to see they've given up Devin Ebanks, Derek Character and a future 2nd round pick.

In restructured 3 way deal, Houston still sending Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, and 2012 picks to Hornets, sources say.
